From Architecture to Award: Aerospace Program Development

We help companies win long-cycle, high-value aerospace programs by aligning product strategy, customer engagement, and price-to-win discipline.

Core Capabilities:

  • Platform capture strategy and campaign development (OEM + defense)
  • Aircraft and system-level positioning within platform architectures
  • Early customer engagement to influence requirements and selection criteria (pre-RFP positioning)
  • Business case modeling and Price-To-Win (PTW) execution
  • Cross-functional capture leadership (engineering, finance, programs)

Deep Aerospace and Defense Technology Experience

  • Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) & Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing(eVTOL) aircraft
  • Unmanned & autonomous aircraft systems (UAS)
  • Aircraft systems architecture, design, and mission-level economics
  • Safety-critical and flight-critical systems
  • Electrified propulsion and power systems  (hybrid-electric, fully electric, solar-assisted)
  • Space systems, small satellites, and space-enabled services
  • Autonomy, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and  Machine Learning (ML)

Leadership

Justin McClellan is a strategic growth and capture leader specializing in aerospace and advanced systems. He leads platform capture, product strategy, and market entry efforts for complex, capital-intensive technologies.

He has built $100M development pipelines and positioned Tier-1s for Billion-dollar production backlogs by aligning engineering roadmaps with customer demand, executing price-to-win strategies, and driving early engagement with OEM technical and executive leaders.

His background combines Aerospace Engineering and commercial execution, spanning spacecraft, unmanned systems, electrified propulsion, and autonomy. He began in R&D supporting DARPA autonomy and NASA next-gen airliner programs, then transitioned into business development and go-to-market leadership.

As co-founder of a venture-backed drone-as-a-service company, he defined the product, built the business model, and led commercialization through channel and strategic partnerships. He has since advised and led growth initiatives across aerospace, marine, and automotive markets.

He holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and an M.B.A. from Boston University.
